Stepper Motors

Stepper motors offer many advantages. Although feedback is not usually required, stepper motors are compatible with feedback signals, either analog or digital. Error is noncumulative as long as pulse-to-step integrity is maintained by the step motor. A stream of pulses can be counted into stepper motors, and the final position will be known within a small percentage of one step.

Series 119-1: 1.9 inch PMDC Stepper Motor

A size 19 (1.9") diameter permanent magnet step motor is available in 7.5 degree or 15 degree step angles and can be wound for bipolar or unipolar drives. Can be custom wound for any voltage up to 240V.

Series 119-2: 1.9 inch PMDC Step Motor with Synchron® Shallow Pear (C-Mount) Gearbox

A size 19 (1.9") diameter permanent magnet step motor on a shallow pear shaped c mount gearbox. Available in 7.5 degree or 15 degree step angles and can be wound for bipolar or unipolar drives. Can be custom wound for any voltage up to 240V. Nearly 3,000 unique gear ratios are available from 5.3:1 to 72,000:1.

Series 119-4: 1.9 inch PMDC Stepper Motor with 2 inch Round Spur Gearbox

These gear motors feature a Hansen size 19 step motor on a 2" spur gearbox. 4 gear ratios are available, 12:1, 48:1, 192:1 and 768:1. The gearbox can handle intermittent torque loads up to 500 oz-in and continuous torque up to 250 oz-in.

Gear motors featuring a Hansen 123-1 series step motor mounted on a 2" round spur gearbox. 4 gear ratios are available, 12:1, 48:1, 192:1 and 768:1. The heavy duty gearbox can handle up to 500 oz-in intermittently and 250 oz-in continuously.
